E-commerce development on Shopify

Shopify store design and development

We launch Shopify stores, migrate existing shops and improve stores that need a better theme, catalogue or integrations. The project connects product presentation with payments, shipping, measurement and order management.

Constraint trackedcatalogue · checkout · operations

The operating constraint

From product catalogue to a tested order

A store is not ready just because it looks good. Customers need to find products, select the right variants and use payment and shipping options configured for the intended markets. Before launch, we also check how an order reaches your team and connected systems.

Signals that intervention is needed

  1. 01

Products, variants, collections or translations are inconsistent.

  2. 02

The theme and app stack slow the store or create overlapping functions.

  3. 03

Payments, shipping, tax, feeds or order handoff require manual correction.

  4. 04

The team cannot explain changes in conversion, margin or catalogue availability.

Fit

Who this service is for

01

Brands launching a first Shopify store with requirements beyond a default theme.

02

Teams migrating from another platform while preserving catalogue and SEO continuity.

03

Existing Shopify stores that need better theme, catalogue, integrations or international operation.

Migrating to Shopify

We inventory existing data and page addresses before moving the catalogue or content. Customer records, historical orders and integrations are included only after access and technical feasibility have been checked. We prepare URL mapping and required tests; we do not promise unchanged Google rankings.

Execution

What the Shopify development project covers

01

We analyse and execute

  • Define products, variants, collections, markets, languages and catalogue ownership.
  • Selects and configures theme, sections, templates and the minimum justified app stack.
  • Map payment, shipping, tax, fulfilment, ERP, CRM, feeds and marketplace dependencies.
  • Implement analytics, consent, SEO continuity and commercial QA.
  • Document promotion, publishing, order exception and rollback procedures.
02

What you receive at launch

  • A theme and store pages adapted for mobile and desktop, with Liquid development within the agreed scope.
  • A catalogue organised into products, variants and collections, with management guidelines.
  • Agreed languages, markets, payments and shipping configuration within the selected plan and services.
  • Measurement, consent and included integrations, with checks on data transfer.
  • Order testing, a migration and redirect plan where required, and store management instructions.

How progress is measured

We track catalogue completeness, successful order scenarios, conversion and checkout behaviour, integration errors, fulfilment time, manual corrections and margin-relevant exceptions.

03

Ongoing costs and project limits

The Shopify subscription, paid themes, apps, payment processing fees, logistics and advertising budgets are separate from implementation. Customisation, integrations and checkout options depend on the plan, platform and third-party services and are checked before quoting. Launching a store does not guarantee sales, marketplace acceptance or advertising results.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you migrate from WooCommerce or another platform?

Yes. The migration scope covers catalogue, content, customers or orders where legally and technically appropriate, plus redirects and validation.

Do we need many Shopify apps?

No. Each app must justify its cost, data access, performance impact and operational dependency.

Can you work with Shopify Markets?

Yes, for market, language, domain, catalogue and operating decisions within Shopify’s available capabilities.

Do you also manage the store after launch?

Ongoing administration or optimisation can be agreed separately with a defined task, access and response model.

How much does it cost to build a Shopify store?

Implementation costs depend on the catalogue, theme, migration, languages and integrations. The quote separates configuration or development work from the ongoing costs of the platform, apps and selected services. The theme price alone does not represent the full project cost.

Can Shopify connect to an ERP, CRM or marketplace?

We assess each integration against the systems involved, API access and the data to be exchanged: products, stock, prices, orders or statuses. We confirm the solution and its limits after checking, rather than assuming every application connects without development.
